Solve Denture Problems With Houston Dental Implants
Despite dental implants having been around for quite a long time already, a lot of people still wonder how it is different and much better than having to wear false teeth. How dental implants work marks it big advantage over false teeth. There is a very huge gap that sets how dental implants function and how false teeth function. And this gap itself will tell you why dental implants should be your ONLY option in solving your teeth loss problems.
One thing that false teeth does not and can’t do is that it does not directly solve the problems that teeth loss cause. False teeth is just there to serve as a substitute of the teeth that you lost. It covers the spaces and serves as a foreign and detachable implement used to chew food. And, that is where the big problem comes in. False teeth is not really part of your mouth so it gives you a strange feeling and taste. Aside from that, since it is not originally part of your mouth, it is not secured. Yes, it may have wires to keep it in place but sudden movements of the mouth could make false teeth fly in no time. These are just the many problems that teeth loss causes and how the more common method of solving this problem, aka false teeth, is incapable of really giving a solution.
In a different light, dental implants become one of the mouth. It is placed in the mouth in such a way that it imitates how real teeth is secured in the mouth. This gives a more natural feel. Also, because it is secured, you will never have to worry about your dentures flying off any time. This will give re-boost the confidence that you lost after teeth loss. You won’t also experience what most false teeth user experience – you will never look older because of teeth loss. Since the dentures are locked and secured in the jaws, it brings back the foundation that was lost when you lost your teeth. In this way, it prevents your face from sagging. And lastly, and most important, is that dental implants has the strength to function almost like you real teeth. Meaning, you will be able to make use its full potential when you are eating. Eat your stake again or those hard food and still feel comfortable chewing them. Your digestion will be improved because you will be able to chew your food before you swallow it. In short, what dental implants do is that it gives you your life back. It becomes the teeth that you lost so it is like you did not lose any of your teeth at all.
Who cares about the price if dental implants can do all of these things. You will still have to spend on false teeth, right? Then, what’s the point in spending for something that really does not work? If you were to shed some of your money, why not do it on something that would make you feel like there was no problem in the first place?

It’s hard to get used to these dentures. By the end of the day my mouth is quite sore, even without eating with them in!

@Terence1999 Well thankyou! big grin.
@jvarela965 Well, you do get used to it. I like mine now. Of course, this is a temporary for a year that I’ve got. I’ll get the permanent pair in Jan. a year after I had those teeth all removed!
I may soon have to wear a full upper denture and am dreading it. I do not see how anyone can stand them in their mouths
Your dentures are very flattering. You look beautiful!
I’ve got a shard again! I hope it falls out soon. I got those SeaBond pads which are great under the dentures, but the food did get under there today. Darn. Do you have to redo them everytime you eat?
=) thank you for the thoughtfulness…really excited to arrange them in my garden hat…take care?
U r kind
I do hope it was of some help to you! And thanks. Good luck.
Thanks for posting this video – I’m so sorry you’re having the hard time with your teeth. You look beautiful in them. I am 29 years old and am about to get dentures. I have been youtube searching for people that are new to them also. You are talking very well with them and you can’t really tell they’re dentures. Hang in there hun
@NingasKugon09 I am waiting for your feathers to dry before sending them winging towards you! Soon, though!
U r lovely
Thanks Nancy,
I had a tooth shard at first and the Dentist had to pull it. At least you have a partial instead of a whole denture. I have nothing to hold my dentures down and when I go out to dinner I have to make several trips to the bathroom to take them out and brush and redo the Fixodent. It’s a chore and a pain in the rear end.
Don’t use the plastic cup to soak them in because bacteria grows inside it. I use two small glasses that I wash out daily.
Take Care,
Debbie
Thank you so much! (curtseying)
Debbie, I am sorry you have cancer. I have been taking your advice and using more poligrip than before. I have a bit of tooth shard that is trying to poke its way out of my gum, though, which may be my problem with the bottom partial.
Nancy,
I have cancer and I have been living with dentures for at least ten years now. I was young when I got my dentures and it was devastating and hard to get use to but I can eat nuts, steak and anything else that people with their own teeth can eat.
My secret is to use plenty of Fixodent and be generous to the point that you have to brush your teeth after you put them in. Believe me the goo will come off and your teeth will feel so much more comfortable.
Ta,
Debbie
I really feel for you; poor baby! But you look mahhhvelous, darling! Really!
…Yes, they are all right Nancy,it’s hard to adjust and your gums are sore…it feels weird and akward to have those inside your mouth, it’s hard to talk for a while bec. there’s less space for your tongue to move …but come to think of it ..no more pain or abcess/infection caused by your natural teeth…start w/ soft diet, then mechanical soft until your gums heals…take care always…
was absent for quite a while bec. my work hours had changed, not used to it yet.
Nancy , you look so nice !
Get a Vitamix machine and juice. It will be so good for you too. Make smooties for you and your mother.
Take care
It sure does take a period of adjustmen that’s for sure.
The great thing about your sharing your experiences like this, is that it helps other people in so many ways..um…you’re awesome Nanc and such a blessing to those you meet along the way!!
Oh dear, I’m so sorry. Just make sure you like the denturist first. I was mighty scared, too. Without any assistance, even! I just have hope, knowing it will be better later when the healing is all over. And I’m bound to get skinny!
Wow, new words to describe the disaster that’s me! LOL. Me gnashers, eh! Welcome aboard! Glad you’re here. I’ll save you a spot in the car, but you’ll have to fight for the front seat view!
Nancy, you’re a bloody bottler!! (In Aussie slang that means your’e great) A rippa! The same as above. Had heaps of dental work done; so I know your gnashers feel!
You look so nice in your dentures. I wish i had mine all done but now you have me scared to death.
