Question by Recession Free P: I want to get my teeth whitened, whats the most effective and long-lasting procedure for in-office dentistry?
I’ve done some research but am having trouble distinguishing the difference between “Zoom” and “Laser”. I just want the whitest teeth possible in as short a time possible. Also, I live in San Diego right by the border of Mexico and was thinking about going out there to save some money?

I drink way too much coffee and started to get stressed out when they weren’t as white anymore. I was going to go the dentist to have him do it but it was ridiculously expensive. So I looked for forever and I finally found a kit that’s just like the one the dentist uses with the mold and injection. It works amazing and fast, I could see the difference after the first one ! I’m glad I didn’t have the dentist do it. I got it on sale too because they were having a trial where you get to try it for the cost of shipping for like 6 bucks here’s the website. http://mywhiterteeth.info

Zoom is a company that specializes in laser teeth whitening lol.
they have their own light that is claimed to make the teeth whitening process even better.
Laser teerth whitening is all about using a peroxide based gel on your teeth. hydrogen peroxide is an old time treatment used to whiten your teeth.
you know how it is always packed in brown bottles?
that is to prevent light from coming in and causing the hydrogen peroxide solution to react, which would make its effectiveness worthless.
BUT this same reaction makes the solution a strong bleaching component, so when the laser light is shined on the gel that is on you teeth, your teeth will be bleached and go several shades lighter.

there are home treatment,s but they come without the light.
review and good luck with whatever you pick.

Though there is lot of expectations from a professional teeth whitening procedure, there is no one single whitening system which has proved to be effective for all cases.

A dentist and your needs together is the best judge for it.

So it is always preferable that you choose a best dentist and allow him to decide on which tooth whitening system would work best on you rather than yourself choosing a whitening system.

The results too vary depending on the present state of your teeth.

Those with Darker shades tend to get better results. Also the relapse of the teeth whitening varies from person to person.

While choosing dentists you should keep the following things in mind:

    - The experience of the dentist in this field
    - Number of teeth whitening treatments performed
    - Number of teeth whitening methods available
    - Testimonials and results of previous patients

once you zero in on a good dentist, allow him to takeover and decide as to what is best for you.
