The cost of these plans starts at about $80 annually for an individual and around $150 annually for entire family. These costs cover most standard dental procedures and will allow you and your family to save on every visit that you have two the dentist, both minor and major procedures, for the next entire year. I want lumineers but my dentist says crowns are better.?

I have soft enamel and my teeth are starting to chip. My dentist does both lumineers and crowns, but is more experienced in crowns. I am apprehensive about destroying the tooth structure for crowns and I thought crowns eventually discolored and cannot be whitened?

Answer
lumineers like crowns aren’t permanent meaning you will be replacing them in 5 years and they look very fake while crowns don’t usually. Lumineers are more expensive but remember you’ll be replacing them just like crowns so what’s the point? you’ll be wasting your money on lumineers because they aren’t any better the only difference is that lumineers have been advertised on tv as this solution to every celebrity’s bad teeth but go with what your dentist says. Yes crowns discolor but so do lumineers they are the same material and its almost the same process to get lumineers as crowns and anyways who cares, don’t whiten your teeth then.
